<=== THE BETA GROUP of 12 IS NOW FILLED ===>

If you would like to get advanced notice prior to the public launch of the site then send an email to digitalcoastimage@gmail.com and just mention you are interested in getting more info about the HDR Training site prior to it going live.

This page exists only until the final 12th spot is filled. The site will be a private login for only the 12 that sign up. 11 have already sprinted out of the gate and signed up, so only 1 spot remains. I'm keeping the group small and intimate and allow for a lot of Q&A and also to allow me to process some of your brackets and teach you exactly how I edit in post (and provide you the files in addition to the private screen captures).

The training will be video based online. Not live webinars, but pre-recorded. For example, video of me at a property showing you what to capture on set (how and why), videos of screen captures using software to produce high quality HDRs and Tonemapped images, and PDFs outlining the various steps covered in the videos.

What I am offering is a roadmap for the photographer that really, really, REALLY wants to learn my HDR workflow. My workflow is definitely perfect for the real estate photographer, but most of what I will teach will apply to all very high dynamic range scenes and how to tame them.

I've shot about 14,000 real estate HDRs and bracketed about 1000 landscapes. I will be sharing my workflows which apply to both. I've shot with canon, nikon, sigma and pentax and I'm familiar with a large number of the cameras out there and which are not only best for HDR, but also how to make your current camera better for HDR adding a cable release and/or other pieces of kit critical to workflow.

The BP spill allowed me to offer this at all. I was gainfully employed by dozens of high end rental companies shooting gulf front properties. The BP spill stalled me to some extent and now I am offering my trench warefare experience to you in an attempt to supplement my losses from the BP Spill.

Having A.D.D. isn't all bad, because it caused me to jump from app to app and workflow to workflow over the last 5 years and in the process I learned a ton about which apps and workflows are best for which scenes. In fact I currently employ slightly different workflows depending on the scene and whether there is mixed lighting or not (which I've just about perfected). I also work on both MACs and PCs so I am familiar with apps that are best for both platforms.

In additon to teaching HDR for stills (GALLERY OF LAST 12 MONTHS: http://digitalcoastimage.com/comps/selections/index.html ). I'll also be sharing my entire workflow that I employ to shoot/edit HDR Timelapse (such as this): http://vimeo.com/13966986

For this online and ongoing training site I'm launching (which is a perpetual/lifetime membership) I'm testing it out with only the first dozen photographers for what amounts to a 20% discount off the $500 lifetime membership. So it will cost $399 per photographer (only 1 spot left) if you choose to join now.

I intend to refine the training and then launch the site publicly this September (for $500 per photographer) for the same services. Actually the future photographers will get slightly less support in a way because this initial dozen will get extra attention and help me refine the flow during the ramp up phase.

I'll have training available as soon as August 20th. More will come each week as I ramp up into early September.

If you are interested and want to be a part of the paid beta team, then you can pay $399 via paypal by sending a paypal payment to mj@digitalcoastimage.com for $399. Alternatively, I do have a merchant account to accept visa/mastercard and could send you a form to fill out and fax back.

If you intend to pay via PayPal, you don't have to email me first. Just send a payment of $399 to mj@digitalcoastimage.com through PayPal. If by chance the FINAL spot has been filled I will refund your money immediately and you won't incur any charges as a result.
